The Educachess team is carrying out various types of collaboration agreements in the fields of standardization of minority languages, solidarity and chess.
Agreements of support
One of the greatest objectives of EDUCACHESS is to contribute to promoting solidarity and support, especially in schools.
From the usage of free learning material (free PDF and interactive multimedia), from the sale of printed materials (benefits) and the participation in the Teaming contest (inscripción), commitment and solidarity will be promoted.
The fundraising schools will collect the funds from their students (1 € per student) which will go directly towards the causes supported, in order to guarantee the transparency of the process.
As members of the project, we would like all the donations and profits to be donated primarily to Down Syndrome, Intellectual disabilities or Alzheimer associations of the country or region where the school may be located.
One of the objectives in common with these associations is to stimulate the intellectual abilities of people as much as we possibly can.
In Catalonia we have already reached a agreement with “Síndrome Down Catalunya”.
The collaboration from media celebrities in the fields of sport, show business and culture will serve to promote awareness of the project and to reinforce the students’ donations.
Linguistic agreements
One of the objectives of the project is to offer all of the learning material in any language.
In addition to initially offering the material in the official UNESCO and European Union languages, we would also like to contribute to the promotion of the use of minority languages.
For example, in Spain agreements have been made so that the learning material can be available in Aragonese, Asturian, Basque, Catalan, Galician and Occitan.
The method of work consists of reaching agreements with institutions and local governments via economic support or by receiving free translated texts. Once the learning material has been translated into these languages, they are offered free of charge to their linguistic communities
Chess agreements
Because chess is a major part of the contents of the project, we also collaborate with federations, associations and foundations, to contribute to the awareness of chess in their respective countries.
